Collin Morikawa’s caddie carousel has stopped again. And it’s another familiar face to golf fans.
The two-time major champion will have Billy Foster on his bag for the next two weeks, as first reported by Bunkered‘s Ben Parsons.

Morikawa split with longtime caddie J.J. Jakovac in April before spending only five tournaments with Max Homa’s ex-caddie Joe Greiner. Morikawa and Greiner parted ways ahead of the Rocket Classic, where he finished T-8 with Korn Ferry Tour pro and former college teammate K.K. Limbhasut.

But now he’s hired Foster, a legendary looper who previously caddied for the likes of Seve Ballesteros and Lee Westwood before helping Matt Fitzpatrick win the 2022 US Open. According to Bunkered, this will be a two-week partnership at this week’s Scottish Open and next week’s Open Championship while Morikawa continues to look for a long-time solution at caddie.
“Just because two people are great at what they do doesn’t mean we’re going to be great together,” Morikawa caddie said after parting ways with Greiner ahead of the Rocket Classic. “I think Joe is an amazing caddie, but I think just the way we kind of saw things or just day-to-day how we kind of went about it, we were just a little bit on a different page.”
