Jazz Janewattananond recorded what appeared to be a relatively boring one-under 71 Saturday during the third round of the Asian Tour’s Indonesian Masters at Royale Jakarta Golf Club.
The 28-year-old from Thailand made 16 pars, one bogey and an eagle.
The eagle though. Wild.
Standing on the 574-yard, par-5 12th hole Janewattananond drove the ball well left, but it bounced directly off a red hazard stake and landed back onto the first cut of rough. From there he was 253 yards from the green.
Probably one of the wildest eagles you'll ever see 🦅

Originally it appeared like his ball found the left, front greenside bunker, but it was just outside of it, allowing him to chip. Of course, he chipped in, tipped his cap and sheepishly said, “that was a good break.”
Janewattananond is tied for fourth place at 13-under-par total with John Catlin and Kieran Vincent. However, they are all eight shots off the pace set by leader Richard T. Lee, who has shot 62-67-66 and is at 21-under.
