Adrian Meronk was in tears. It’d been more than 1,000 days since he won on the DP World Tour and despite winning a LIV Golf event in 2025, he struggled mightily this year on the circuit and was not able to record even a single top-20 finish.
The 33-year-old from Poland shot 63-68 on the weekend to capture the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, which is played on the Old Course, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns. He earned $816,000 from the overall $4.8 million purse. His last Euro Tour victory came at the 2023 Andalucia Masters. Casey Jarvis and Niklas Norgaard tied for second place, two shots back.
“I never usually cry but this one feels special,” Meronk said. “I’m sorry, I’m just lost for words.”

Tommy Fleetwood tied for fourth place while Brooks Koepka and Robert MacIntyre tied for sixth place. The Fitzpatrick brothers both played, as did Padraig Harrington.
