AUGUSTA, Ga. — Youth was served once more on Sunday with Augusta National hosting the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals. Each year, 80 girls and boys have the spotlight all to themselves as they make memories friends and sometimes a little history.
Will one of the youngsters who competed this Sunday one day play on the LPGA or PGA Tour? Why not … three-time PGA Tour winner Akshay Bhatia compete in the inaugural DCP in 2014, and Michael Thorbjornsen was a winner of the Boys 14-15 age group in 2016. LPGA pros Gianna Clemente, Alexa Pano and Yana Wilson are all DPC alums as well.
Below are some of our favorite images from Sunday’s competition.
