Wyndham Clark is a longshot to win the 2026 Players Championship, but he’s already wrapped up the unofficial title of doing the cheekiest interview of the week at TPC Sawgrass.
The 2023 U.S. Open winner joined FanDuel’s “Up & Adams” show and when the discussion turned to his frequent equipment changes, Clark cracked up host Kay Adams by making a wild drivers-girlfriends analogy.

“Sometimes it’s nice to have a week-long girlfriend,” Clark says with a laugh. “I’m just kidding. I’m just kidding.”

“Wyndham?! Are you kidding?” Adams presses.
“I am kidding. You know, I haven’t found the right one. And when you find the right one, you lock it down, OK?” continued the unmarried Clark. “We’re still talking about drivers, right?”
Wyndham Clark’s got jokes! The three-time PGA Tour winner went on to say that he’s currently using a TaylorMade Qi4D.
“It’s your fourth swap of the season?” Adams asks. “Settle down, Wyndham!”
“I’m a free agent, and you know, sometimes it’s nice to spice things up,” Clark replies. “As you said, the honeymoon stage can be really nice.”
OK then . . . Here’s hoping Wyndham has finally found true (driver) happiness.
