Justin Rose put on an all-time putting performance at last week’s Ryder Cup that included an all-time walk-in putt on Saturday. The guy was making everything he looked at the first two days so it’s no surprise he just started assuming his putts would go in. From no matter where he putted from. Like this one:

Incredible. But just a few days later, that moment has been topped for the walk-in putt of the year. And by a celebrity golfer, no less.

That brings us to what Michael Douglas (Yes, that Michael Douglas) did on Day 1 of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. This fun event on the DP World Tour includes celebrities much like the PGA Tour’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and it’s no stranger to amazing moments from famous stars. Like when Michael Phelps drained the longest putt ever recorded on TV back in 2012.
But back to Douglas. The acting legend faced about a 20-foot putt on Carnoustie’s sixth hole on Thursday and did this:

He started walking as soon as he struck it! What a boss!
You know how that famous Tiger Woods Presidents Cup putt has been distorted to look like took off his hat and started shaking his opponent’s hand as soon as he hit the putt? Well, Douglas actually did that. Pretty wild.
Now, we’re not sure that Douglas actually did all this on purpose. But we are sure that he should definitely play it off like he did.
