In the long history of the Road Hole, it’s possible no one has ever done what one long drive champion did recently.

The Old Course at St Andrews has been in the news this week for announcing changes ahead of the 2027 Open Championship in an effort to defend the storied layout against the best players in the world. But there’s not much to be done anywhere if Kyle Berkshire gets ahold of one.

The Long Drive legend and YouTube creator recently filmed at the Old Course. And he brought the famed Road Hole to its knees by driving the par 4 and making a two-putt birdie.

Impressive stuff from Berkshire. There’s not much that can be done to “Kyle-Proof” that. Unless, the Old Course Hotel adds an extension.
