Australian Golf Digest’s Brad Clifton visits the new Titleist Fitting Centre at Nudgee Golf Club in Brisbane for a custom GTS driver fitting, discovering how the right head, shaft and adjustments can deliver improved performance.
The new Titleist Fitting Centre at Nudgee Golf Club in Brisbane is designed to service golfers across South East Queensland, offering a dedicated environment for custom club fitting.
Australian Golf Digest’s Brad Clifton visited the facility to test the new Titleist GTS driver range with fitting specialist Davin Knudsen.
Beginning with a 7-iron to establish a baseline ball-flight height, the fitting progressed through the GTS2, GTS3 and GTS4 drivers, comparing launch, spin, ball speed and overall performance.
The GTS2 emerged as the preferred option, with further adjustments helping Clifton achieve his desired flight and consistency. His final numbers included 161.6 ball speed, 252 metres of carry and 272 metres total distance.
The experience highlighted the value of custom fitting, with the new Brisbane facility offering golfers the opportunity to find equipment tailored to their individual swing and performance goals.
