If only for the 18th hole at the Hero World Challenge, Tiger Woods would be in second place heading into the final round in the Bahamas. But two double bogeys on the finishing hole in three rounds have cost the 14-time Major champion on his return to competitive golf.
Woods fired a two-under 70 to climb to 10th place but is a distant 11 shots of runaway leader Hideki Matsuyama.
