Phil Mickelson has never shied away from theatrics. But even for his dramatic self, Mickelson has been a human highlight reel the past month, beating his Ryder Cup teammates in a wedge contest right-handed and hitting a flop shot over railroad ties. The 46-year-old added to these feats during the first round of the Tour Championship, dropping this 94-foot bomb on the first hole:

It would have counted as the longest putt of the PGA Tour season, but sadly didn’t qualify as it was off the green. Doubt Mickelson will lose sleep over this development, though.
