We’re sorry to say that this is the last week of the beloved Florida Swing (especially for tour pros who call the Sunshine State home) before the PGA Tour picks up and heads to Texas. To close out the four-tournament run, golf’s best will make their way to the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort for the Valspar Championship.
Seven of the top 20 players in the world are set to tee off this week, most notably two-time major champ and recent third-place Players finisher Xander Schauffele. He’ll be joined by J.J. Spaun, Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick, Ben Griffin, Viktor Hovland and current FedEx Cup leader Jacob Bridgeman.
Brooks Koepka will be back, as well, after strong showings at the Cognizant Classic and the Players. He’s only played at Innisbrook twice, with a missed cut in 2014 and a T-12 finish in 2022.
Last year, Viktor Hovland emerged victorious at Innisbrook behind a final-round 67 that saw him hold off Thomas by one stroke. It was the Norwegian’s first PGA Tour victory since claiming the Tour Championship in 2023.
This week’s winner will receive a $1.638 million cut of the $9.1 million purse and 500 FedEx Cup points.
