Several of the best golfers in the world will make the four-hour drive (depending on traffic, of course) from TPC Sawgrass outside Jacksonville to Innisbrook Resort outside Tampa for this week’s Valspar Championship, the final event of the PGA Tour’s Florida Swing.
Defending champ Taylor Moore will be looking for his second tour win after a Sunday 67 a year ago that was just enough to best Adam Schenk by one stroke. Xander Schauffele also will be at Innisbrook this week, after a close-but-no-cigar T-2 at last week’s Players. Another joint runner-up, Brian Harman, along with Keegan Bradley, Jordan Spieth, Sam Burns, Cameron Young, Nick Taylor, Sepp Straka, Justin Thomas and Tony Finau will all finish out the Florida Swing, as well, looking for some momentum now that back-to-back winner Scottie Scheffler is taking a well-deserved break.

JT is coming off of two top-10 finishes at Valspar, which would be a nice pick-me-up after missing the cut for the first time at the Players Championship.
Innisbrook’s Copperhead Course is probably best known as the home of the “Snake Pit.” The difficult trio of finishing holes has two tough par 4s (Nos. 16 adn 18) and an exhausting 200-yard par 3.
The winner will receive 500 FedEx Cup points and a $1.512 million share of the $8.4 million purse.

TV Schedule
Golf Channel will carry live coverage on Thursday and Friday from 2-6 p.m. EDT. On Saturday and Sunday, Golf Channel will start the coverage from 1-3 p.m. with NBC taking over with late afternoon coverage from 3-6 p.m.
