AUSSIE Matt Jones has a knack for landing golf balls into seriously random places.
At the third event of the FedEx Cup playoffs this morning, the Sydneysider’s Titleist Pro V1x landed in the bumbag (or ‘fannypack’ as Americans call them) of golf fan Terry Walker while Jones was playing his eighth hole.

It was the only highlight for Jones, whose 4-over total through 14 holes (weather delay) puts him in T65 (from 70 players) at the BMW Championship and in danger of missing out soon the 30 spots that progress to the season-ending Tour Championship.
The bumbag incident comes only weeks after US PGA Championship, where Jones was forced to play an approach shot out of a hospitality tent – and he did it well.
