Bryson DeChambeau was one of those players who were unable to finish their first rounds on Thursday, but he walked away feeling pretty good at one under. Friday morning, however, wasn’t as kind to the two-time U.S. Open champ.

We’ll get to that in a second, but first, DeChambeau dropped an all-time DeChambeau answer on Thursday evening when asked if there was “Anything special we’re doing tonight to prepare for tomorrow?”

“Chocolate milk,” DeChambeau replied.

OK then.

Now, we know Bryson loves his chocolate milk. That’s what he’s chosen to drink from his U.S. Open trophies (in addition to other stuff) in the past. But, still, it was a unique answer.

Sadly, however, (chocolate) milk doesn’t seem to be doing Bryon’s body good. He bogeyed his final hole of Round 1 to finish at even par and then had back-to-back double bogeys on holes 3 and 4 of his second round. If this keeps up, DeChambeau might need to drink something stronger on Friday night.
