Federal has a legion of admirers in the nation’s capital who lavish praise on the Red Hill course. Not only is the site scenic, with views towards the stately Brindabella Ranges, the course mixes flora and fauna as it traverses an interesting and undulating parcel of land not far from Parliament House.
The club has recently undertaken an impressive re-branding. Its superb course condition and award-winning catering, functions and wedding business are of an excellent standard.
Federal’s next step might be its most significant. In June, its over-55s development proposal in the southern part of the property was included in the ACT Government’s final plan for the Red Hill Nature Reserve and surrounds. The club will now prepare a detailed development application for government consideration in consultation with the local community.
