TIGER Woods may not be ‘back’ to his winning form yet, but he’s certainly starting to hit the shots that defined his greatest era.
Watch the video below of his spectacular recover shot from the rough on the 12th hole at the Quicken Loans National.
Woods’ scores of 68, 66, 74, 68, Woods earned him a top-20 finish on the US PGA Tour and his second tournament in 2015 containing three rounds in the 60s.
“It was kind of a mixed bag as far as results, but the fact I had total control of the golf ball was nice,” Woods said.
Woods finished his week 8-under par but had put himself in contention for the first time in a long time, entering the weekend T5, three strokes off the lead as he sought to end a two-year winless drought.
“Today I started off well and really hit the ball well and I looked at the whole week in general,” Woods said. “Felt like I made some big strides.”
"That's ridiculous."
"That's fantastic."
"Seriously now?"The commentary says it all. #QuickHits http://t.co/BLEeMHPTZD
