The average golf fan probably doesn’t know too much about Taylor Dickson, but we’re here to help. He’s a PGA Tour rookie. He’s 32. He went to Winthrop University in South Carolina. He won two times on the Korn Ferry in 2024. Oh, and apparently he’s a huge Happy Gilmore fan.
We learned this last fact thanks to Golfweek‘s Adam Schupak, who snapped a few photos of Dickson’s golf bag from the Sony Open in Hawaii, which tees off tonight (Australian time). See for yourself:

That’s going to turn a few heads at Waialae Country Club this week.
There’s a lot going on there, most notably the Boston Bruins colours and “GILMORE” stitched in giant letters. But our favourite part has to be the Swag Golf headcovers, especially the, “You’re in my world now, grandma,” one featuring Ben Stiller’s nurse character from the movie.
Anyway, Taylor, good luck this week. And just remember to just taaaaap it in.
