BMW iX3
The all-new BMW iX3 arrives as the first of BMW’s Neue Klasse era, and it shows in every detail. Up to 805 kilometres of WLTP range* means the road ahead stretches further than ever, while 400kW DC fast charging has you back underway in minutes**.
Settle into the cabin and the Panoramic iDrive display wraps around you, calm and intuitive, responding as easily to a voice as a touch, with an intelligent digital ecosystem that keeps the right information in the right place at the right time.
That same intelligence extends to the way the iX3 drives. For the first time, BMW’s distinctive driving character, powertrain software and dynamics systems are harmonised into one unified system, so the car responds faster and more precisely. The result is a car built less around specifications and more around how it makes you feel behind the wheel: confident, unhurried and entirely in command of where you’re headed next. See bmw.com.au
*The stated values are based on the mandatory WLTP measurement procedure. The real-life values depend on various factors, e.g. cargo weight, driving style, route, weather conditions, auxiliary electrical consumption (including air conditioning), tyres, battery state of health.
**The added range after 10 minutes of high-power charging was determined according to ISO12906 in the WLTP cycle and requires that the charging infrastructure enables the maximum DC charging power. The added range and charging performance depend on vehicle equipment, battery state of charge and health, ambient and battery temperature, driving profile, auxiliary users, vehicle-specific charging settings, and the charging power provided by the charging station.

Zeekr 7X
The Zeekr 7X is a large, polished electric SUV that feels designed as much for long country-club runs as the school run. The big attraction is practicality: there’s 539 litres of boot space, expanding to 1,978 litres with the rear seats folded, so a couple of golf bags and luggage are no great challenge.
The Long Range RWD is probably the sweet spot for golfers, offering a claimed 615 kilometres WLTP range, while the Performance AWD brings a 3.8-second 0-100km/h sprint. The 800V architecture is more useful than that headline acceleration, though.
With compatible fast charging, the 7X can replenish remarkably quickly – handy when a Saturday morning tee-time is looming and you’ve forgotten to plug in. Inside, it has the sort of tech-heavy, lounge-like ambience you’d expect from a much more established luxury marque, with heated and ventilated seats, massage functions on relevant variants and 36 storage compartments.
The catch? Zeekr is still the newcomer. For buyers accustomed to other European giants, the badge lacks heritage… for now. But if you care more about what the car does than the emblem on the grille, the 7X is one of the most interesting luxury EVs entering the Aussie market. See zeekrlife.com
