Most NFL fans know Brandon Aubrey as the Dallas Cowboys kicker who makes 60-yarders look like extra points with his powerful right leg. But it turns out he has plenty of pop with a driver in his hands as well.
Football and golf fans found that out earlier this week during the Pro Bowl Games, a series of contests around the annual NFC vs. AFC tilt. One of those contests was long drive competition that featured more heavy hitting than the actual game considering it’s now just a flag-football exhibition.

No, but really, this turned out to be an amazing matchup between the kickers and punters for both teams. Representing the AFC, you had San Diego’s Cameron Dicker (the Kicker) and Baltimore punter Jordan Stout, who lived up to that name with a 322-yard poke into a simulator screen. Combined with Dicker’s best effort, a solid 265 yards, the AFC looked in control with a combined team score/total of 587 yards.
Washington Commanders punter Tess Way went first for the NFC and put forth a respectable 260-yard drive, which left it up to Aubrey needing to hit one at least 328 yards. And, boy, did he deliver. Have a look:

How ’bout that? After a quick pep talk from NFC teammate Micah Parsons, Aubrey got in there and smoked one 336.9 yards (with a 302.9 carry!) on his first attempt to win the contest for the NFC, 596-587. Dramatic!
Seriously, though, what an effort by Aubrey. Who says kickers aren’t athletes?
