The Greg Norman/Bob Harrison-designed The Vintage Golf Club, nestled in New South Wales’ premier wine region, will host the 2025 edition of the storied championship from November 13-16.
The proposal features three kilometres of running, walking and cycling paths, adventure and nature playgrounds, a footy field, skate park, BMX track, fitness trail and dog park with a reduced 18-hole public golf course and high-tech driving range.
Historic Wollongong Golf Club will host the 2025 Women’s NSW Open, while stunning Coffs Harbour Golf Club on the Mid-North Coast will be the stage for the Australian Women’s Classic.
Facilities from the Far North Coast down to the Victorian border and west to Broken Hill impacted by the disaster will receive cheques ranging in value from $2,500 to $7,500 to assist in repairing damaged courses and facilities.
With Australia’s borders effectively closed until at least mid-2021, Golf NSW in conjunction with the Australian Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG) and the Ladies European Tour (LET) made the difficult decision to cancel the twin championships for next year.
