Swing Factory has taken another significant step towards becoming Australia’s first national golf entertainment brand, with its Moreton Bay development receiving Development Approval ahead of construction commencing later this year.
Scheduled to open in mid-to-late 2027, the Queensland venue will feature 26 Toptracer-powered driving range bays, an 18-hole mini-golf course, food and beverage offerings, event spaces and a range of family-friendly experiences designed to appeal to golfers and non-golfers alike.
The approval represents another important milestone for the rapidly expanding business, which already operates facilities at Terrey Hills in Sydney and Morack Public Golf in Melbourne.
“We’re excited to move into the construction phase later in 2026 and ultimately deliver a world-class facility that golfers, families, businesses and visitors can enjoy for many years to come,” Swing Factory CEO Erich Weber said.
“Moreton Bay is one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions and we believe this venue will offer something genuinely unique. Our aim has always been to create destinations that combine the best in golf practice, entertainment and hospitality, while remaining accessible and welcoming to everyone.”
With planning approval now secured, Swing Factory will focus on final design work, contractor appointments and site preparation in the coming months.
The company continues to build momentum nationally, with projects progressing in Moreton Bay, Port Kembla, Southern Sydney and Greater Melbourne. Seven sites have now been secured as Swing Factory pursues its ambition of establishing Australia’s first nationwide network of modern golf entertainment destinations.
