Sungjae Im drains putt with gigantic putter, couldn’t be more locked in right now

Sungjae Im didn’t have to take a single swing at a PGA Tour event this northern autumn to produce the most important victory of his career. Instead, he and Si Woo Kim were part of the gold medal-winning South Korean squad at the Asian Games a few weeks ago, a victory that got Im and Kim out of the country’s mandatory 21-month military service. Talk about clutch.

So it’s no surprise to see Sungjae in great spirits ahead of this week’s Zozo Championship, where he’ll make his first PGA Tour start since the Tour Championship. And few things seem to get tour pros to light up on the practice green than a gigantic putter, especially when they use one successfully:

Regardless, Sungjae Im is LOCKED in right now. Xander Schauffele may be the betting favourite, but in terms of vibes, Sungjae is lapping the field in Japan.
