You’ve got to hand it to Aussie Steven Bowditch – the guy has a sense of humour.
Even when his game is seemingly down and out, he finds time to laugh about it all.
The big-hitting Queenslander has been on a horror run on the US PGA Tour, racking up five-straight rounds of 80+ in World Golf Championship events, plus four more rounds over 80 in between.
This morning, thankfully, he showed signs of improvement, ending the nightmare patch with a 2-over par 72 at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
What happened next was hilarious.
The US PGA Tour’s random drug testing policy – known for targeting players straight after they post a red-hot round – decided it was time for Bowditch to pee in a cup following his sub-80 performance.
His response on Twitter was awesome:
Even the tour can't believe I broke 80! pic.twitter.com/56tXnkZ6Be

It followed his corker of a tweet 24 hours earlier following two straight rounds in the 80s:

Good onya, Bowdo. With an attitude like this it’s only a matter of time before you’re back winning again!
