Now that the very chill, very normal Ryder Cup is over, the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Fall returns with this week’s Sanderson Farms Championship. Recent European team member Rasmus Højgaard is in the field, as is European Vice Captain Francesco Molinari and American assistant Brandt Snedeker.
Kevin Yu is set to return, looking to become the first back-to-back winner at the Sanderson Farms, but he’ll have to get by those Ryder Cuppers, along with top talents like Beau Hossler, Akshay Bhatia, Min Woo Lee, J.T. Poston and Sam Stevens. Bhatia is the highest-ranked golfer in the field this week at No. 34 and has a strong chance to grab his third PGA Tour victory.
Yu won last year with a critical birdie on the 18th hole at the Country Club of Jackson (Miss.) to get into a playoff with Hossler, and then birdied the subsequent playoff hole to lock in his first tour win. Yu already has two top-10s this season and is looking to earn a spot in the Aon Next 10 for early next year.
This week’s winner will receive 500 FedEx Cup points and a $1.08 million cut of the $6 million purse.

Golf Channel and the NBC Sports app will carry live coverage on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4-7 p.m. ET. On Sunday, Golf Channel will air coverage from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
