Rosebud Country Club is one of the most improved golf facilities on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. The club announced itself as a European Tour Qualifying School host venue early last year, originally pencilled in for September. However, once the COVID-19 pandemic affected the world as we know it, the club and the European Tour postponed Rosebud’s first hosting until September 2021, providing travel is allowed then.

Rosebud Country Club is thriving with record membership and playing numbers, and outstanding reviews of its golf courses. It offers high-calibre golf across two courses, and recent works to the North course have highlighted the quality of the property. In 2020, the club engaged Ogilvy Cocking Mead Golf Course Design to develop a full course master plan, which will ensure members enjoy outstanding golf for many years to come.

First up for the club is hosting a Players Series event in the last week of January – a fixture for Rosebud for at least the next three years. The Players Series comprises new events on the PGA Tour of Australasia and WPGA Tour schedule where men and women compete in one field for the same prize purse with one order of merit. The Players Series showcases the future of amateur golf by including juniors in the weekend play to rub shoulders with the pros.

Rosebud is situated in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula with easy access via Peninsula Link, while located just 100 metres from the clubhouse, Fairways Resort is the perfect accommodation option. With 39 four-star rooms, it is the choice for your stay and play on the peninsula. Staying on-site ensures you are the club’s honorary guest and enjoy fantastic rates and offers on food and beverage plus a large range of golf apparel and merchandise.

The club also has fantastic practice facilities, with a driving range, chipping and putting greens as well as varying practice bunkers. With more than 20 driving-range bays, and a large area of quality turf to practise from, it is a facility that keeps delivering on improving your game.

Rosebud Country Club is famous for its post-golf atmosphere in the clubhouse with a very friendly and social membership base. With great golf on offer, membership represents outstanding value and ensures the club is one of the leading golf facilities on the Mornington Peninsula.
