We put Aussie superstar and online gamer Min Woo Lee under the ultimate pressure of 50 rapid-fire questions while playing golf. Can he pass the test?
1. OK, Min Woo, what’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think about Perth?
I’d say the beaches. Our beaches are nice.

Probably a streamer. Gaming. I love gaming.

8. If you could get a mulligan in your career, where would you take it?
Fourth hole at the Players. (During the final round of the 2023 Players Championship, Lee had a disastrous fourth hole, making a triple-bogey 7 after being tied for the lead.) I would like that wedge shot back.

We are tied. I keep saying this, we are tied. So, we might need a showdown soon.

I don’t think so. I’m a pretty chill guy. I don’t think I have anything superstitious.

I’ll go with Rickie Fowler.

12. When you’re on the course, how do you deal with the unexpected?
Just being a professional golfer, you’ve got to expect that things might not go your way, so you just deal with it on the flow.

I think I’ve got to go back to the Players. I think the island green (the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass) is pretty daunting.

A lot. I mean, every week there’s something. From the off-course stuff to all the technical stuff.

I would say Bay Hill when it’s at the condition that we played a couple of years ago, and when it’s firm.

I would say it’s weather-related. [Inclement weather] is something that you’ve got to play through. And yeah, there are some cold days in Scotland, I would say.

Oh, that would be history.

I have a custom marking. Callaway have made me a ball with a red line that’s already printed on there and a chef logo, so makes it easy for me.

41. What’s the moment that made you want to be a professional golfer?
I had a tournament when I was about 15 and that really opened my eyes to the game of golf. I enjoyed playing and meeting new friends. I think it was more meeting people from around the world, and that got me excited to play golf.

Bit of mince, eggs and rice.

That’s a tough one. I would say probably something with golf and coaching. I like helping people with their swings and stuff like that. So somewhere along those lines.

Five years? Hopefully one of the best players in the world and someone that’s popular – for the right reasons – and someone who’s very chill and cool, and helping out the community.

I would say breakfasts. Breakfast is pretty hard to beat in Australia.
