Now that the sun’s out and the spring weather has fully arrived, it’s time to sit on the couch, get extra comfy and watch the PGA Championship. We’re on to the second men’s major of the year, and Rory McIlroy has a chance to continue his Quail Hollow dominance, Jordan Spieth has another opportunity to complete a career Grand Slam and Scottie Scheffler is fresh off one of the best showings of his illustrious career.

What are you going to do? Walk around outside? The outside will still be there after Sunday, May 18. It’s time to watch some golf.

For those locked in to traditional television broadcasts, ESPN will continue its “first tee to last putt coverage” of the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday, along with weekend morning viewing for the third and fourth rounds. Then, CBS will complete Saturday and Sunday with the broadcasting duo of Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman.

Along with those dulcet tones, CBS will introduce quite a few new coverage enhancements, such as three fly cams roving between holes Nos. 14-17 and on the 18th green. Also, two 4K bunker cameras on No. 14, a rail-cam on the par-5 10th tee and a camera crane on the final hole at Quail Hollow promise to give us new looks at the drama playing out in the Queen City. CBS Sports coverage will feature 125 cameras, so make sure you’re good and ready for one of the biggest events on the golf calendar.

In case that’s not enough golf, ESPN is bringing back its alternate betting telecast, properly titled “ESPN BET at the PGA Championship.” SportsCenter will have reports and analysis from the North Carolina course, plus three-hour practice-round coverage on ESPN+. CBS Sports Network’s “PGA Championship Clubhouse Report” is also set to return with full-day recaps every evening during the tournament. Phew… There’s plenty more; let’s get into the schedule.
