However you feel about TGL, it’s hard to argue that yesterday’s triple-header was anything but a stroke of genius. With a large portion of the host country off work (it was Presidents Day in America), there was no better time to simply flip on the coverage to see what the indoor simulator league was all about. Even Nelly Korda tuned in.
That’s right, the No.1-ranked women’s golfer in the world was locked into prime-time TGL and its final match of the night between the Bay GC and Boston Common Golf. Hideki Matsuyama made his debut for the Ball Frogs, while Rory McIlroy and Keegan Bradley appeared for the third time.
Unfortunately, Boston Common fell to the wagon that is the Bay GC, who are a perfect 3-0-0 and sit alone atop the TGL season standings. Boston is now 0-2-1 and outside the projected playoff cut-line. Adding insult to injury was the fact that Korda parachuted to absolutely cook Keegan for his look:

Watch it, Nelly. That’s the United States Ryder Cup captain you are talking about.
Obviously, this is all in good fun. That said, Korda has 1 million Instagram followers and now they might all think Keegan is Luigi. There is no coming back from being compared to a cartoon character. Have you all seen the viral video of the guy with the ski mask on being referred to as “Buzz Lightyear” by his mates? Yeah, that guy is Buzz Lightyear forever now. You can’t shake that. Keegan is now Luigi as long as he’s rocking the ‘stache. Those are the rules.
