Mizuno has announced a significant expansion into the golf footwear market with the release of five new models for 2021.  The new line is set to cut a reputation for high comfort and ultra-lightweight performance, with an increased design influence from Mizuno’s acclaimed running and court shoe expertise.

With a reputation for pioneering footwear in the sporting arena and a golf heritage that dates back to 1933, Mizuno is in prime position to make an impact on the fairways in 2021. An enthusiastic reaction to Mizuno’s running-inspired Wave Cadence golf shoe in 2020 was enough for Mizuno to push the green light on the next stage of its development.

“Mizuno is in a unique position – widely respected for our running shoes, but unlike other dedicated footwear brands, we also have a passionate following amongst golfers,” said Kate Whitmore, soft goods manager for Mizuno EMEA. “This deeper footwear line-up features the perfect balance of comfort, looks and the stability needed for an efficient golf swing.”
