Presidents Cup 2024: Min Woo Lee debuts unhinged new haircut at Royal Montreal, Internationals by a million

It’s been a banner week for questionable golf haircuts. Last weekend, we watched in horror has Phil’s follicles lost their battle with Father Time. Then, just when we thought we had put that tragedy behind us, Min Woo Lee debuted this Presidents Cup-themed number which features “INT” shaved right into the side of his signature locks. Yes, really.

 

We love Min Woo. Really we do. We love his swag, his hype videos, his sense of humour. His personality has been a welcome addition to the PGA Tour over the past couple of seasons. But this? This could use some work. It’s not the sweaty disaster Mickelson was rocking at Maridoe, but, well, just look at it. It looks like Mike Weir shaved it onto Lee’s head himself after two triple espressos. They also didn’t leave room for the L, so instead of reading “INTL” for “International”, it reads “INT” for “interception” or “intravenous” or “interminable”. Take your pick, there’s lots of words that start with “INT” out there.

That said, Lee’s show of camaraderie at Royal Montreal is admirable on some level. The intentions (another “INT” word!) were good. So while we tip our cap to the Sandgroper, we can only that hope he leaves his on.
