Remember when Max Homa used to roast random golfers’ swings on Twitter? Ah, the good old days.
Sadly, the former King of Golf Twitter has abdicated his throne and gotten away from that fun bit. But ahead of the 3M Open he was back in a way, giving out swing grades for his fellow PGA Tour pros.

This time, Homa was asked to assign various players to tiers from A to F with an additional S-Tier category for the best of the best. Some of the results will not surprise you as Homa assigned Tiger Woods, Adam Scott, Tommy Fleetwood and silky-smooth Jake Knapp in the S-Tier. He noted World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler “hits it S-Tier,” but only gave his swing a B for the wildness of it.
Anyway, we won’t spoil the whole thing, including who Homa named on his own as a final S-Tier player after responding to a list of players. And in this case, the S stands for surprising. Have a look and listen:

“Jimmy Stanger has the prettiest swing I’ve probably ever seen,” Homa says in the video.
Jimmy Stanger?! Even the sickest of golf sickos wouldn’t have come up with that name.
The 31-year-old has just a pair of top 10s in 35 career PGA Tour starts and has only made six of 15 cuts this season. But getting such high praise from such a sweet swinger (Although, Homa gave his own swing an F), is quite impressive. It’s just too bad for Stanger that his S-Tier status doesn’t also come with some FedEx Cup points.
