Cameron Smith stunned fans online by wearing a blue, Ripper GC-embroided blazer while warming up and playing a practice round on Wednesday at the Masters.
The jacket, made by Smith’s clothing sponsor, Greyson, had a Ripper GC logo stitched on the front above the breast pocket and LIV Golf on the left sleeve.
Smith was seen hitting iron shots on the range wearing the blazer before teeing off for his final Masters practice round. It set tongues wagging across the golf world.
Ripper GC’s general manager, Nick Adams, said Greyson was hoping to reach a broader audience outside of golf with the blazer.

“Greyson is our apparel partner and they wanted to try some different looks with a unique athlete in Cam,” Adams told Australian Golf Digest. “Like the Ripper GC team, Greyson is looking to democratise golf, speak to new fans outside of the norm to get more people playing golf globally.”
Smith, the 2022 Open champion at St Andrews has played on LIV Golf for three years now, with the franchise he captains, Ripper GC, winning the teams component of LIV Golf Miami on Sunday – their fourth victory as a side on the league.
Smith played a nine-hole practice round with close friend, fellow Australian and 2013 Masters champion, Adam Scott. Scott had attended the Champions Dinner on Tuesday night.
