Brooks Koepka has been pretty ice cold with the media in his career – not offering much aside from dismissive, short answers. That has changed a bit this week in two appearances in the Masters press room.

His Friday 67 followed up an opening-round 65, bringing the four-time Major champion to talk to the press for a second straight day as the biggest story of the week.

On Thursday, he detailed his lengthy injury history and went into some gruesome details that we hadn’t heard before.

He followed that up on Friday with a revealing answer regarding what could’ve changed his mind about joining LIV.

When asked if his decision to join LIV would’ve been more challenging if he was healthy, he was forthcoming:

“Honestly, yeah, probably, if I’m being completely honest,” Koepka told reporters on Friday. “I think it would have been. But I’m happy with the decision I made.”

Fans got to see this vulnerable side of the 32-year-old for the first time during the first season of the Netflix ‘Full Swing’ documentary. He has continued to be more open this week. We’ll see what else we might learn about the current Masters leader by Sunday.
