We’re five weeks into the 2023 NFL season. By now, you probably have a pretty good sense of your fantasy football roster. Maybe you’re a genuine title contender, maybe you’re already planning for next year. Or maybe just maybe your squad is finally starting to gel after a few early season injuries. Such is the case for PGA Tour pro Justin Lower.

This weekend Lower scored the most points in his PGA Tour player-caddie fantasy league, taking down his very own caddie thanks to big afternoons from Travis Etienne, Justin Fields and D.J. Moore. As a reward for his top-dawg status, Lower got to devote an entire press conference to his fake football team at the Shriners Children’s Open on Wednesday. Ladies and gentleman, this is the dream.

Asked if we felt bad about hanging triple digits on his caddie Chad, who is on the hot seat after an 0-4 start to the season, Lower did not mince words:

“No I do not at all,” he said.

Spoken like a true competitor. The win helped his team claw back to 2-3 on the season with Austin Ekeler set to return from an ankle injury that has sidelined him since Week 1. Needless to say, things are looking up for the Fightin’ Lowers and something tells us we’ll see him at the victory podium again before the season is out.
