One of the best games on the NFL slate this weekend pits the 6-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the 6-3 Buffalo Bills. Though there’s no rivalry or playoff seeding at stake in the cross-conference showdown, you wouldn’t have known listening to Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen sling some shade this week. On Wednesday, Mayfield mocked Allen’s hand size, telling reporters he better wear gloves for Sunday’s windy match-up in Orchard Park.

Asked about Mayfield’s comments during his press conference on Wednesday afternoon, Allen was surprised but didn’t miss an opportunity to clap back at the Buccaneers’ signal caller with this savage golf dig. Check it out.
"That's crazy… Baker wears two gloves golfing, so he's that type of guy."

“That’s crazy,” Allen replied after a reporter read off Mayfield’s insults. “Baker Mayfield wears two gloves golfing. So he’s that type of guy.”
Dang, prayers up for the Aaron Rai fans in the audience.
All joking aside, it sounds like Allen has previously let Mayfield off the hook for his choice in golf accessories, but the gloves (ahem) are well and truly off now. As for our thoughts, we’ll remain above the fray for the time being, but in Mayfield’s defense, two gloves are still better than iron covers any day.
