JASON Day leads the BMW Championship after playing a blistering 17 holes in 10-under par, but inclement weather fas seen the Queenslander’s opening round halted on his 18th hole.
Leadings the FedEx Cup points race heading into the third event at Conway Farms Golf Club in Illinois, Day holds a four-shot lead over Daniel Berger, while playing partner Jordan Spieth is a shot back at 5-under.
The US PGA Champion has this up-and-down for a birdie to sign or an 11-under par 60. The par-4 ninth (his 18th) is 370 metres and day has a short pitch shot left.
Play has been called for the day at the @BMWchamps. Round 1 will resume tomorrow at 7:30 am local time. #FedExCup
