The Japan Golf Tour apparently suspended second-round play at the ANA Open in Sapporo today after North Korea launched a ballistic missile over Japan.

Matt Griffin (pictured), last year’s PGA Tour of Australasia order of merit winner who also plays on the Japan Golf Tour, posted this Tweet:

“The Japanese government said a ballistic missile launched from North Korea has flown over Japan and landed in the Pacific Ocean, according to NHK,” Fox News reported. “Residents of Japan are being asked to avoid anything that could possibly be missile debris.”
