You can always expect a few non-golf videos to emerge during WM Phoenix Open week. They just usually involve, um, rowdy fans – and not the wrath of Mother Nature.

Again, this is TPC SCOTTSDALE! This is supposed to be the greatest show on grass, a giant outdoor party in beautiful weather! Instead, for a second consecutive week the tour is getting crushed by the elements.

Last week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am had to be shortened to 54 holes. And although nothing in this week’s forecast looks as bad, the next four days don’t look great.

For those doing the Fahrenheit-to-Celsius conversions, those top temperatures are in the 11-to-15 range. And there’s some serious rain on the cards. Again, this is an event that has had more than 700,000 people pass through its gates in the past.

No matter how many people wind up going this year, they should probably consider bringing umbrellas. And boots.
