PXG

Lightning

Lightning

  • This larger of the two Lightning options mixes forgiveness with adjustability and offers a range of higher lofts.
  • A squared-off clubface design provides a larger low-face area to push more weight low and forward and create opportunities for more ball speed in the spot where average golfers most often make contact.
  • The perimeter of the clubface is 12.5 percent thinner than past models to increase face flexing for more potential distance.
  • 15, 17, 18, 21, 24, 27 degrees (with an eight-way adjustable hosel)

Lightning Tour

  • This more compact of the two Lightning models favours better ball-strikers looking for a flatter trajectory and more versatility.
  • A rounded sole shape allows for cleaner action through the turf.
  • Developed using input from PXG’s tour staff, the taller face targets players who often use a 3-wood off the tee.
  • The face’s perimeter is 12.5 percent thinner to bolster ball speed.
  • Two moveable weights in the sole control trajectory and spin.
  • 15, 18 degrees (with an eight-way adjustable hosel)
