HiBore XL

HiBore XL

  • The triangular shape provides stability with less volume, allowing designers to create a face that’s roughly 10-percent larger than the current average.
  • The head shape stiffens the body to improve sound.
  • The weld line is further off the centre, improving face flex on off-centre hits.
  • Cleveland used AI simulations of average golfers’ impact patterns to dial in the face’s variable thickness for maximising ball speed on mis-hits.
  • Top 5 in Forgiveness, low-handicaps.
  • 10.5 degrees (12-way adjustable hosel).

HiBore XL Lite

  • At 10-percent lighter than the standard XL, the XL Lite targets moderate-swing-speed golfers looking to create more power with the same effort.
  • The triangular head shape provides stability with less volume but with a face that’s roughly 10-percent larger than the industry average.
  • The head’s internal weighting favours the heel side to create more slice-fighting draw bias.
  • A winglet on the crown’s heel side increases the head’s stability as it moves towards impact.
  • 10.5 degrees (adjustable hosel).

Reviewer profile

“Definitely a different look with the chiselled tail on the back, but it performed better than it looks. Sound was nice – quiet yet powerful – and the ball didn’t curve much on mis-hits.”

– +3-handicap on HiBore XL

Reviewer profile

“I hit it straight. Off-centre hits didn’t affect much. Powerful sound.”

– 7-handicap on HiBore XL Lite
