We made it. This week’s RSM Classic marks the end of the PGA Tour’s fall season, where the rank and file are still all battling for status for next year in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
For starters, the purse is $7 million, with the winner taking home $1.26 million for a victory. As a refresher, Nos. 51-70 in the FedEx Cup standings have already clinched status for next year but are playing for spots in the first two signature events of 2026. The top 100 earn full status for next year. Those who rank from 101-125 at the end of the fall will have conditional status for next year and anyone outside the top 100 is eligible to attend PGA Tour Q-School to try to improve status.

Max McGreevy was No. 100 last week but moved to 89th after a strong performance last week in Bermuda. Karl Vilips is right on the 100th spot now. Joel Dahmen enters the week at Sea Island Golf Club at No. 117 and looks to improve. If you’ll remember, last year Dahmen shot a final-round 64 at the RSM Classic to do just enough to keep his card for this year.
Last week’s Bermuda winner, Adam Schenk, now with status locked up, is playing this week now with much, much less stress. Ryder Cupper and World No. 13 Harris English is the highest ranked player in the field.
