This week marks the end of the LPGA’s fall Asia swing where the Toto Japan Classic is at Taiheiyo Club Minori Course in Omitama, where the field is playing for $2.1 million with the winner taking home $315,000. Nasa Hataoka is the defending champion. She also won this event in 2018.
Ten of the top 25 players in the world are playing, starting with World No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul. Last week’s winner Miyu Yamashita (4) and Hyo Joo Kim (6) are the only players inside the top 10.
There is no break on tour after this week as it heads directly to Florida for the Annika Sorenstam event in Florida. The season concludes the following week in Naples, Fla., with the CME Group Tour Championship. World No. 1 Nelly Korda is expected to play in both.
Check back here early Sunday after play is complete for updates on the money below.
