The final 36 players have been determined for the PGA Tour Champions finale. Stewart Cink and Zach Johnson top the Charles Schwab Cup points list and head into the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in two weeks as the favourites.
There will be two winners at Phoenix Country Club (November 12-15) – a tournament winner and a season-long points winner. They could be the same person of course, just as it was last year when Cink took home both titles.

A few things of note. South Africa’s Darren Fichardt made an eagle on the last hole of the Simmons Bank Championship in Arkanas on Sunday to play his way into the championship field, jumping from 46th to 17th in points. Ricardo Gonzalez and Bo Van Pelt also played their way into the field at the last moment. Mario Tiziani dropped from 34th in points to 37th and was the first man out.
Henrik Stenson, returning from his stint with LIV Golf, ended 40th and Michael Block’s season came to an end as he finished 42nd in points.
