Perhaps you’ve heard the big Farmers Insurance Open news: Last year’s Latin America Amateur Championship winner, Justin Hastings, will be making his 2026 PGA Tour debut. He finished T-2 at The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic last week and is searching for his first professional win. Oh, also, Brooks Koepka will be teeing it up.

The ex-LIV golfer is returning this week at Torrey Pines under the Returning Member Program. And it’ll be his first non-major event on the PGA Tour since the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play in March 2022. He’s also set to play the always-very-chill WM Phoenix Open, but first, he’ll have his work cut out for him at the Farmers. He’s teed off at this event four times and has only made the cut once, his first time playing the event in 2015. He finished T-41.

The five-time major champ will be joined by Xander Schauffele, J.J. Spaun, Justin Rose and recent Sony Open in Hawaii winner Chris Gotterup, along with last year’s Farmers victor Harris English.

In a historic broadcast, ESPN will be airing the first two rounds, which “will mark the first time in nearly 20 years that ESPN offers live coverage of a tour event (non-major).” The people love Justin Hastings!

This week’s winner will receive a $1.728 million cut of the $9.6 million purse and 500 FedEx Cup points.
