There’s a very good chance you’ll go your whole life without ever playing Augusta National. We know, we know. That’s tough to hear, but in recent years the good folks at EA Sports have given us the next best thing with EA Sports PGA Tour: Road to the Masters, which allows golfer/gamers to experience the majesty of ANGC from the well-worn dent in their couch. This year, Road to the Masters returns once again and it looks so good you might not even need the real thing.

The 2024 edition of Road to the Masters is offering more than just photorealistic pine straw and incredible lighting effects, however. Check out those slides again. If Augusta National looks a little different to you, that’s because for the first time ever, the famed Par 3 Course will be rebuilt in virtual form.

We’re still awaiting final details like a release date and whetherthe Par 3 Contest will be a playable mode, but if you’ve longed to smack it around Augusta National’s short course before teeing it up on the big kahuna, then Road to the Masters 2024 may be your best (and only) bet.
