Golf has been good to Dustin Johnson in 2016. He’s notched three wins, highlighted by his breakthrough moment in the face of adversity at Oakmont. DJ leads the tour in earnings, scoring and driving distance; in 21 events, he has 14 top-10 finishes. And next week will represent the U.S. in the Ryder Cup. The man can do no wrong.
Even when Johnson finds himself in precarious situations, the guy has things under control, evidenced by this marvellous shot out of the trees at the Tour Championship.

Johnson would go on to birdie, and racked up another bird on the sixth hole to reach three under. Jason Day noted on Wednesday that DJ’s confidence is sky high, and when that’s the case, it’s game over for everyone else. That certainly seems to be the case in the early going at East Lake on Thursday.
