Smiles. Hug. Even a few tears. The 10th edition of the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals had all those emotions and more as 80 boys and girls aged 7 to 15 competed at Augusta National Golf Club on the eve of the 2024 Masters.

The anticipation for playing in the event remains palpable for all those who earned their way into the final. “It’s like heaven,” said Texas Terry, a precocious 11-year-old who claimed the title in the Boys 10-11 age division. “When I picture heaven, I picture this.”
