The first new golf course project by Michael Clayton and his original design partners, Ranfurlie is a solid layout in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne that has continued to mature in the decade or so since opening. On a compact and gently leaning property, the holes here are mostly straight but the greens are arranged to open up for those approaching from alongside the fairway bunkers. The course has few standout holes, but no obvious black spots either.
