One of the best performers amongst our top 10, New South Wales improved by around half a point (out of 50) from 2014 and was praised almost universally by the panel for its continued turf excellence and fantastic coastal golf. “Conditioning varies but the variety of the challenge, and the intimidating tee shots never do. Sensational,” says judge Phil Heads. Under pressure from a number of Tasmanian upstarts, the course maintains a presence inside our top five – where it has been a fixture now for the past 22 years.
