Intrigue abounds over the future of top NFL Draft prospect Caleb Williams. Will he go number-one-overall to the Chicago Bears, who still have former first-round pick Justin Fields on the roster? Or will the Patriots or Commanders try to trade up for the former USC signal caller? Either way, his futureā€”at least in the short termā€”looks to be one of unrest and upheaval. Perhaps thatā€™s why he was spotted following fellow agent of chaos Jordan Spieth at the Players Championship on Thursday, prepping for his own emotional rollercoaster come April 25th.

If it was a sweaty-palmed, white-knuckled thrill-ride Williams was hoping to witness, Spieth once again delivered, walking a tight rope around TPC Sawgrass as only he can do.

With two bogeys, two birdies and plenty Spieth-patented scrambling on the opening nine, Williams certainly got the “Full Jordy.” As some longtime followers pointed out, thatā€™s not always a good thing, but if Williams is going to survive in the NFC North, heā€™s going to have be mentally strong as well as physically fit. If he can withstand 18 holes of Spieth chopping here, there and everywhere, then maybe just maybe heā€™ll be able to take down the Packers.
